Thank you for visiting the Colorado Springs Branch NAACP website. Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. 
The Colorado Branch was established in 1918. Our dedicated leaders, volunteers, organizers and members who make up the NAACP continue to fight for equal opportunity for ALL Americans. 

Our Mission

The vision of this  Branch of the NAACP  is to mitigate the effects of racial, ethnic, religious and gender discrimination and achieve equality of opportunity in areas of voting, housing, employment, education, economic

development,and politics.
